Steps to using AutoPay on your smartphone

• Open the GM Financial Mobile app. If you don’t have the application downloaded, you can also visit their website. However, we suggest getting the app as the most convenient way to pay. 
• Login to your account. This probably goes without saying, but you’ll need to be logged in for the system to find your information. On your smartphone, you can enable fingerprint ID for future log-ins. 
• Click on the “Make Payment” button. This should be clearly seen from your dashboard, the first page that opens once you are logged in. You should also see information about your vehicle and monthly payments. Check that the information is accurate. 
• Click on the “Set Up Auto Pay” button. This is one of the options on the payment page. Your other options include making a one-time payment via your card or account. 
• Choose the amount that you wish to pay monthly. To make it easiest, just choose the amount due. You can also choose another amount if you prefer. 
• Choose your bank account. You should see this option, along with the option to set up a new account. It is also a good idea to make sure that you have enough funds in your account. 
• Select a start date. Remember, you could face overcharge fees if there is not enough money in the account. This is why you should keep track of the date that money will be automatically pulled from your account. 
• Agree to the terms and conditions. Just like with everything, using AutoPay comes with its own terms and conditions. You’ll need to agree to them to continue. 
• Click the “Schedule Auto Pay” button. Congratulations, you are done! You can change the information at any time with the app.
