I went to Carl Black of Roswell to look at a GMC Elevation that was on display. I met Dominick who showed me the truck. Dominick was very friendly and easy to talk. He didn’t push or rush me. He answered all my questions but one. With that one question he walked me straight over to the service department where he asked a service writer and I got my answer. From the sales, service to the finance was an easy experience and all the guys I met, Tod, Jon, Matt, Steve, Bill and Dominick were awesome. I like this dealership and the people who work there.

Called Sales Manager Matt about a 2021 Denali XL that I...

Called Sales Manager Matt about a 2021 Denali XL that I saw on their website. Matt confirmed that the vehicle was on his lot and available for sale. They sent me a photo of the window sticker so I could view how the vehicle was equipped and confirm MSRP to make sure it was the same as what I saw on line. Once I received this I told them to move forward with sending me what the total is going to be with taxes, tag, and administration fee. When they sent me this information, they raised the price $5,000 over MSRP and added another $1.842 for waxing and treating the interior which is nothing more than a sales scheme. Based off the reviews that I have read about this dealership, this appears to be a common practice, so buyers beware. To General Motors, you need to know when you have dealership that do not represent your brand well and have unethical business practices. To the owners of this dealership, if you encourage or compensate your employees to conduct business this way, you need to realize this is not a sustainable practice. I’m a 53 year old business owner and I take pride that I can grow my business annually and give my employees raises each year without having to jeopardize the integrity of my company or compromise my professional and personal values.

Arrogance and dishonesty would be two choice words to describe my experience with Mr. Roberson and this is also AS A CURRENT CUSTOMER. I bought my past truck from him even though he just made it his job to make the deal as prohibitive as possible. I went back to buy an 82k GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax and all I received was an attitude from this man asking me why I even needed this truck. As if it’s my responsibility to justify to this clown why I’m coming into the Carl Black lot and threatening to fork over 80k+ on a truck. Instead, I was called on the phone by the staff; quoted MSRP to bait me onto the lot only to arrive and find $9k in absolutely valueless dealer add-on’s. When I offered to buy the truck without the garbage added to the sticker this clown just laughed and said no. Guess what, clown. I bought my truck. The same day. And I paid MSRP. You might not remember me, but I’ll remember you. And I’ll remember your dealership next time I threaten to spend 80-90k again.

Don’t use Carl black Roswell. They’re not telling until after you get approved through financing and all that they’re adding 5k for market adjustment. Stay away from the crooks. Use a dealer who isn’t trying to rob people who can’t say no.

Caution buying a truck here and watch out for hidden fees such as their accessories they try to trick you with. Bought a truck back in 2012 from Carl Black Roswell and was told they were about family and return customers. Questionable business practice going on here. Won’t shop here again.

In the market for a new gmc canyon. Submitted request for price and availability on similar vehicle we were looking at elsewhere. No response for over a day. Got on chat waited an hour for response. Told chat person to respond via email. No response for 2 days. Sent another request. No response for a day. Called, was told I would get a call back from the sales manager, no response. Got on chat again waited for 23 minutes they said they would respond via email, then message popped up "Sam the sales manager has joined the chat, let me check for you." Responded one of my managers sold this truck. I immediately went back to the original truck we were looking at and it had sold at the other dealership. Which was Rick Hendrick. But they responded to me in minutes. Now all that is available is white everywhere, If it takes them a week to let you know if a xxxx car is on their lot, it makes you wonder how they can do anything productive.

Carl and Sam were good to work, however the finance person was very condescending on his interaction with us. My company has a partnership with Buick but he didn't even mention I could have a discount from my company employee discount. Terrible attitude from finance person and didn't even bother to mentioned about my company discount. I'm not happy with this as during the current financial situation many customers deserve the best offers on the market if they want to attract more customers or get referrals.

Oh do I have a story for you.

Oh do I have a story for you... So, I walked into the dealership beginning of January with a buddy who was looking to buy a truck. Long story short, I actually end up finding a truck and he doesn't buy one because they were asking 10k over, on a USED AT4 with 40k miles. That should've been my red flag to leave, but I saw what I thought was a nice used vehicle and I wasn't going without it. Upon buying the vehicle, it did have some dents and scratches that they said they would fix, an issue with alignment, and it was missing a key fob. This is the second red flag I played the blind eye to and regret with all of my being. Anyways, I take it to service to get it aligned, they tell me that they're incapable of doing so, remember this is the SAME DEALERSHIP I literally just purchased the truck from. The only place that can do it is butler tire, OK that's fine, as long as it can be done... Wrong again. I get a call from butler telling me they can align the truck because the Pitman arm has play... I take the truck to my friends shop to put on a lift to ensure the arm had play and NOT ONLY find a bad pitman arm, but I also find that the oil filter housing is leaking AND the DRIVE SHAFT PINION SEAL IS LEAKING??? How does a dealership, that I forgot to mention, CHARGED 8K OVER MSRP ON A TRUCK THAT HAD SOME WHEELS AND A LEVELING KIT, sell a truck that has these kinds of issues? But the story doesn't stop there... this is where it gets juicy. THANK GOD! I bought an extended warranty with the vehicle, but never in my life have I felt more disrespected, lied to and deceived. I bring the truck in with 1k miles being driven by me (I took it to Tampa to see how it rode and this is what started my journey to get everything fixed because it rode like trash) with only owning the vehicle for 3 weeks at this point. I take it to service and am told that I can't make a warranty claim for 60 days... Weird I thought, and referred to the contract they sold me to see if my warranty plan had these stipulations. After reading, I find they do not, and show the paper work to the service advisor. He proceeds to direct me to the finance department and I end up with Daniel. Unfortunately , when the advisor told Daniel about the issue, Daniel proceeds to try and wait me out and avoid me until I end up confronting him. HIS RESPONSE was that a claim can't be made for 60 days (the complete OPPOSITE of the LEGAL CONTRACT they sold me WITH the warranty) and then says "I can refund you or your warranty costs if you'd like"...the 3 items that needed to be fixed are not low ticket items! They take time to be done correctly and if rushed will end up with the same result we began with! Beyond frustrated, I call the issuer of the warranty that Carl black sold me and ask the rep if there is ANY clause on my warranty that states it doesn't start from date of purchase, ON SPEAKER, she informs me in front of the advisor that there is no clause on my warranty and that it is valid from date of purchase. I finally give the truck to the advisor and he tells me "it's not that you can't bring it in, it's just that if it's before 60 days it on us" and my response was "As it should be!" No truck sold for 85k should have leaking parts. Especially from a big dealership like Carl black. I expected better but was literally given the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. Please, please, please, avoid them at all costs!! they are not worth your business and give car salesman the bad name they have!! It's so bad I'm currently in the process of trying to trade it in, despite the negative equity it has. The worst decision I have ever made in my life all i wanted was a reliable, and safe vehicle.

Good Afternoon, The process was a few hours I had already told them I was approved through my credit Union but I still was told to see if they could get me a better deal even after the day before filling out the online application I had to fill it out again. I was not pleased with the extra $1600 that was added in fees and was told it was taken off yet when asked for the bill of sale saw that the price had been moved into the online price. Which I addressed. Once the price was negotiated to a better rate I asked if they could hold it for me being that I was headed to obtain the check and was told no it may or may not be here when you get back. And was told that I would need to put something down . Then after asking why they do not allow someone to take the car for a day like other dealerships he then had me sign a paper and I was able to take it. Also I noticed the car had a cracked fog light which they said they could not repair and a cracked windshield which they said they they could take care of by scheduling an appointment because the glass guy was not answering the phone. But I have yet to hear back from them. Overall the car is nice but I can’t say I was ecstatic with the service. I was not even provided a car fax or maintenance list. I know that buying a car is a process but all the run around and not being thorough is not acceptable.

Ruan was a little better but inexperienced. You would think if you spend 20k plus on a car with cash he could throw in a Christmas bow . We had to beg owner and he did not hesitate. Common Sense. use it.
