Had a great overall experience at this dealership. I’ve bought a lot of cars in my life and typically regret setting foot on a sales lot the moment I do— get ready to do battle! *However* our salesman, Nick Grieme was courteous, professional and to the point (which I generally prefer) in helping us choose a vehicle for our growing family. We love our new 2019 Terrain!! There was no pressure selling from him. We were choosing between two models and he never tried to force the more expensive option on us even though that’s what we ultimately chose. A couple of minor issues I had after the sale were handled as a priority. Of note, he even came in after going home sick to help us close on the sale (we completed purchase the day after our initial visit— more on why below). Rubens, his associate, was also very friendly and helpful in this regard and Sam Garcia made the financial affairs a piece of cake. Our first day there the finance guy we dealt with (Eric) was honestly so rude to us that we almost moved on to another dealership altogether. He made it pretty obvious that he was irritated because we didn’t wish to purchase additional warranty coverage and wanted to use our own financing after we learned that GM financial just wasn’t our best option. So we said no thanks and left. I simply have no patience for such rudeness and was headed straight for the next dealership. But on our way out Nick and Sam continued to be so professional and actually listen to what we wanted and didn’t want that we decided to go back to Carl Black and not let one bad interaction ruin everything. I would definitely recommend this dealership (and these 3 gentlemen specifically) to anyone looking to skip the typical high pressure/high frustration sales environment and just buy the vehicle they need! Both Matt and Matt on the pre owned side were amazing. I was very specific with my needs and they went above and beyond. At no point did I feel pressured or "being sold," I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
