What do we know about the GMC Canyon AT4?
Obviously, it’s still very early, so not all of the details have been revealed as of yet. But we certainly wanted to clue you in on all the details that have been unveiled by GMC already. For starters, the exterior design will be a bit bolder than other Canyon trim levels, thanks in part to dark chrome finishes, a larger grille design and the addition of red recovery hooks in the front fascia. The interior design benefits from more premium detailing, such as a unique Kalahari stitching style and AT4 embroidery in the headrest.
To make the Canyon AT4 off-road ready, the truck adds plenty of additional standard equipment as well. This includes things 17” aluminum wheels wrapped in 31” Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® tires, an off-road tuned suspension system that features an Advanced Hill Descent Control System, a four-wheel drive system that features an Eaton G80 Rear Automatic Locking Differential, and a transfer case skid plate that will offer plenty of additional protection to the underbody while tackling off-road paths.
