The big news lately has been circling the announcement of the all-new 2021 GMC Yukon lineup, but it isn’t the only recent news to come out of the GMC camp. The manufacturer gave us all a sneak peek at the full upcoming AT4 lineup, for instance, which is about to double in size. But they also unveiled a new 2021 GMC Canyon, and what might be even more exciting than the addition of its first AT4 trim level is the elevation of the top-of-the-line Denali trim level.

“Denali represents GMC’s bold design philosophy and these changes further elevate the Canyon from the mainstream competition, while delivering a modern look for the customer. It features a more distinctive and sophisticated design that has become synonymous with Denali.”

Design Changes

2021 GMC Canyon Denali Interior Cabin DashboardA majority of the enhancements to the 2021 GMC Canyon Denali came to the truck’s design, elevating the luxury trim level to the next level. The Denali grille was already iconic, but designers tweaked it to adopt a more sculpted and layered pattern for the new model. The new model also features several signature chrome accents around the exterior, including 5” assist steps. Bringing the exterior together is a set of 20” Diamond Cut aluminum wheels that are exclusive to the Denali trim level.

Moving to the interior, designers refined the cabin space even further by introducing authentic open-pore ash wood trim, a new unique style of stitching and some aluminum decor. Designers also introduced a new color theme for the interior called Cocoa/Dark Atmosphere. Furthermore, heated and ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel are now standard in the model.

We cannot wait for the new 2021 GMC models to begin arriving, especially the enhanced Canyon Denali.
