How is the best auto brand decided each year? 

The J.D. Power U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study is an annual analysis of new vehicle purchase experience and customer satisfaction. Buick earned this position by delivering unbeatable customer service and quality vehicles. Buick has also released several new or redesigned cars in the past year, giving customers more options. 

How much data does the SSI Study have? 

The 2023 study used responses from 37,235 customers who purchased or leased a new vehicle. These customers were across many car brands, and the survey gives us a good representation of buyers in general. In 2024, you could be one of the new vehicle owners to give your two cents for the study. 

Has Buick been the best auto brand in past years? 

This title wouldn’t mean much if customer satisfaction vastly changed from year to year, but we’ve seen consistent results from Buick. In fact, 2023 is the second year in a row Buick earned the top position in customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the brand has placed number one or two for the past eleven years of this yearly study.
