What is GMC’s ProGrade Trailering Technology and how does it work?

There are just so many different features and technologies found for the very first time in the upcoming 2022 GMC HUMMER EV, that we simply can’t stop talking about them. Today, we’re highlighting ProGrade Trailering Technology to show you another outstanding, advanced feature and tell you how it works.

ProGrade Trailering Technology in the GMC HUMMER EV

ProGrade Trailering Technology is a package of several technologies designed to intuitively enhance how well and safely trailering works with your vehicle. Unlike some of the other technologies we’ve looked at recently, this suite of features isn’t appearing in the GMC HUMMER EV first, it’s already been around in other GMC vehicles and will simply be tweaked for the new electric vehicle.

Features include the Trailering App with Trailer Light Test, Trailer Electrical Diagnostics, Trailer Tire Pressure and Temperature Monitoring, pre-Maintenance Reminders, Departure Checklist and an additional camera view for your infotainment system. All of these combine together to help you trailer with more confidence than ever.
