Steps to using Alexa Built-In in your GMC vehicle 

It’s a voice-command system, so of course, using it is as simple as talking. Before you start though, you’ll have to activate Alexa Built-In in your GMC vehicle. Follow these steps to activate the system for use. 

1. You’ll need an Amazon account, a select paid GMC Connected Services plan and a properly equipped GMC vehicle. If you don’t have an Amazon account, you can create one for free online. 
2. Find the Alexa app on your car’s infotainment screen. If the app isn’t present, use the app shop to download this app. Click on the app to open it. 
3. Follow the prompts on the screen, review the terms and conditions of use, and then tap “Accept” if you agree.  
4. Link your Amazon account by using the code of scanning the QR code provided on your vehicle’s infotainment screen.  
5. You’ll then choose how you want to wake up the Amazon Alexa system, and you’ll be ready to go.
