New Details Regarding the GMC Hummer EV Lineup

While the highly anticipated vehicle itself has yet to be unveiled, GMC has released new details regarding the upcoming Hummer EV lineup. To give a quick recap, we know that the return of the Hummer nameplate will be as an electric vehicle for the first time ever. We know that it will generate up to 1,000 horsepower alongside 11,500 pound-feet of torque and be capable of accelerating from 0-60 miles per hour in 3 seconds flat. Those are all pretty incredible details, but what new information has been unveiled?

In what body style will the GMC Hummer EV be available?

Well, this is a little bit of a trick question. The most exciting bit of news regarding the upcoming GMC Hummer EV that we’ve recently learned is that it will be a lineup, not just a single vehicle. Not only will the GMC Hummer EV be an SUV like you might have expected, but it will also be available as the world’s first all-electric supertruck.

While we don’t have the… details… on these new details, the most recent video preview of the GMC Hummer EV lineup (which you can watch below) flashed several feature names across the screen. When will we learn more?

A specific date hasn’t been established, but GMC has confirmed that the official unveiling and global debut will take place sometime this fall, which is the same time in which you’ll be able to reserve it.
