2024 GMC HUMMER EV SUV Ultium Platform & Power Station Generator

The Ultium Platform was first introduced for the pickup truck version of the HUMMER EV, but it returns for the 2024 GMC HUMMER EV SUV. Ultium Platform Features of the Edition 1

• The Ultium battery pack is of course the centerpiece of the platform. The 20-module, double-stacked battery pack provides power for all three of the electric motors and allows the vehicle to travel for more than 300 miles.
• Speaking of those three electric motors, the EV SUV Edition 1 will be powered by a three-motor e4WD system capable of generating the equivalent of up to 830 horsepower alongside 11,500 pound-feet of torque, as estimated by General Motors themselves.
• An industry-first technology enables the batteries to be changed mechanically from parallel to series mode while being charged, which enables the vehicle to make use of 800-volt DC public fast charging up to 300 kW.
• Much like the pickup truck version, the EV SUV will feature Regen on Demand, One-Pedal Driving and Terrain Mode to help with excursions both on and off the road.

What is the Power Station Generator?

A new feature making its debut in the EV SUV is the available Power Station Generator, which gives the vehicle an impressive ability to deliver external power while you’re on the go. This new hardware allows the HUMMER EV SUV to jump-start a similar vehicle or deliver power to a host of powered equipment and accessories.
