Performance Specs & Features

By now, you’re likely aware of the absurd performance numbers the HUMMER EV has been boasting since information first began trickling out. The HUMMER EV Edition 1 will be the model to deliver a GM-estimated 1,000 horsepower alongside 11,500 pound-feet of torque, all of which is made possible by a three-motor e4WD system.

Battery Power & Charging Time

Powering that three-motor system is a 24-module, double-stacked Ultium battery propulsion system. Due to a technology that is appearing for the first time in the industry, the HUMMER EV is capable of mechanically switching those batteries from parallel to series mode while they’re charging. That means that you can charge your new GMC HUMMER EV with the fastest 350 kW DC chargers, netting a range of almost 100 miles with just 10 minutes of charging.

What is the range of the 2022 GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1?

We know you can get 100 miles from 10 minutes of charging, but what’s the overall estimated range of the first-ever electric supertruck? According to General Motors, the 2022 GMC HUMMER EV will be capable of driving further than 350 miles on a full charge. That’s quite the distance!
