2021 GMC Yukon Lineup on State at Reveal
Although we’re still in the early months of the 2020 calendar year, GMC is getting a jump start on the 2021 model year. In January, the brand unveiled the all-new, next-generation 2021 GMC Yukon lineup. The next-gen lineup doesn’t just include the ordinary Yukon, extended-length Yukon XL and top-of-the-line Denali versions of each, it also includes the first-ever Yukon AT4 off-road model. We’ve already talked a bit about what’s new in these models, but today we wanted to focus a bit more specifically on the power & interior space that the lineup has to offer.

Powertrain Options & Capabilities

With a choice between three different engine options, you can make sure you’re getting the right GMC Yukon or Yukon XL to meet your needs. You’ll be able to choose between the standard 5.3L V8, a 3.0L inline-six turbo-diesel or the class-leading 6.2L V8. The 6.2L V8 is able to generate up to 420 horsepower alongside 460 pound-feet of torque, which is the most power in its class. Both it and the standard 5.3L V8 options come with stop/start technology and Dynamic Fuel Management to optimize the power and efficiency of the vehicle.

Cargo Capacity & Roominess

For the new model year, both the Yukon and Yukon XL have gotten bigger in an effort to increase interior space. Check out the table below to see the differences!
