When the subcompact crossover segment first began its incredible boom, the Buick Encore was right there leading the charge. As one of the first entries into the incredibly fast-growing segment, it has had quite a few years to perfect itself and become an incredible option in the premium version of the class. As you can see, the Encore family has grown to include two different models. The regular Encore is still the subcompact crossover that started it all, but it’s now joined by the slightly larger Encore GX. With thirteen different configurations to choose from, this is still just the beginning. There are also plenty of packages that you can opt for, enhancing the value and – in some cases – design of each trim level that much more.
