With a 1.5L turbocharged DOHC 4-cylinder engine with 170 hp and 203 lb.-ft. of torque and 9-speed automatic transmission, this compact SUV has its fair share of power. Drivers now have the option of using front or all-wheel drive alongside 4-wheel antilock disc brakes. And if that isn’t powerful enough, buyers have the option to choose between the 2.0L turbocharged SIDI 4-cylinder engine with 252 hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque or the 1.6L Turbo-Diesel DOHC 4-cylinder engine with 137 hp and 240 lb.-ft. of torque. These are available on SLE and SLT packages.
The 2018 GMC Terrain has a single engine configuration. The GM 9-speed automatic transmission will ace highway roads as well has winding, hilly terrain. It shifts smoothly and remains in optimal gear.

And it has all the features you would expect: cruise control, power windows with driver express-down, and a 7” diagonal Color Touch Infotainment System with AM/FM SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Not to mention the standard USB port with auxiliary input jack and Bluetooth wireless technology.
There is a rear-window defogger, remote keyless entry, and programmable power door locks. It also comes with a compact spare tire and jack! The gorgeous looking exterior has intermittent front windshield wipers. And the front is enhanced with halogen projector-beam headlamps. The tires are all-season Blackwall tires with shiny 17″ aluminum silver painted wheels. The manual liftgate with wiper/washer is power adjustable with heated exterior mirrors.
