Well, the SLT trim starts at $54,400 and answers that question by adding more features to that already intense list. Now you can also get the hands-free Liftgate, an auto-dimming mirror on the driver’s side, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, and leather upholstery. Also included are the 12-way power-adjustable front seats, heated steering wheel and seating, ventilated front seats, power-folding second and third-row seats and mirrors, memory functions for the driver’s seat, and a wireless charging station.
Finally the well-known and exceedingly popular trim is the Denali trim starting at $66,200 with its 10-speed transmission, 20-inch wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, a trailer brake controller, a head-up display, noise canceling cabin, a navigation system, and a 10-speaker surround-sound system. Performance

2018 GMC Yukon

When it comes to power, the 2018 GMC Yukon offers a standard 5.3L V8 engine with 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque that pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission. Upgrade to the Denali trim, and you will get a 420 hp 6.2L V8 engine with 460 lb-ft of torque and a 10-speed automatic transmission. When equipped properly the 2018 Yukon can tow a massive 8,500 pounds, which for those who are not familiar with weight disruption, this is strong enough to haul a pair of jet skis, a boat, or a large RV.
The shifting on the 10-speed is smooth and offers plenty of power. Get the Magnetic Ride Control, and you won’t even notice bumpy and jagged terrain. It may be a big ride, but the 2018 GMC Yukon knows how to control its power in a way that makes handling a dream, even on those tricky turns. The GMC Yukon is also fairly fuel efficient for its size with 23 mpg highway at base trim.

2018 Ford Expedition

The 2018 Ford Expedition offers twin-turbocharged V6 engines with 375 and 400 hp respectively. Not offering a V8 option is one way the 2018 Expedition falls short compared to the 2018 Yukon. These engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission which will allow for quick acceleration and plenty of control. The 2018 Expedition handles like a truck and offers a fair amount of agility for a vehicle of its size. No matter the terrain, the expedition can handle it with little to no effort, but this does not mean there are not better options for tackling the more difficult trails of the world.

Design

2018 GMC Yukon

The 2018 GMC Yukon is 204 inches in length, 81 inches in width, and 74 inches in height and has a curb weight of 5,626 pounds making this the big boy on the GMC SUV lot. With 94.7 ft³ of cargo space, the only limit to what you can fit into a Yukon is your imagination. Upgrading to the Yukon XL and you can increase that to an even more impressive 121.7 ft³. The power-fold seating and the hands-free Liftgate makes your loading and unloading no longer the torturous chore it once was before innovations grew to such a substantial level.
Inside, the 2018 Yukon seats eight with its standard configuration, but its versatility strikes again by allowing a seven or even a nine-passenger model. To fit up to nine people in your Yukon you can upgrade the front row to bench seating, and if eight is too much, you can just have the middle seat of the second-row removed. If the comfort of the third row is a deal breaker for you, then it will be important to invest in the Yukon XL in order to make it roomy enough back there for adult-sized passengers.
The overall quality of the 2018 GMC Yukon cabin is something anyone can admire. The material is top of the line to assure comfort, and the atmosphere is quiet enough to be mistaken for a library. This doesn’t even address the multiple comforts and convenience features that the 2018 GMC Yukon offers without any hesitation.

2018 Ford Expedition

Not many can beat the 2018 Ford Expedition when it comes to utility with a maximum cargo capacity of 104.6 ft³ with the seats down, and 20.9 ft³ without. For those that need to imagine what that kind of space is like, you could fit almost 15 pieces of carry-on luggage in the back of a 2018 Expedition with enough room to fit eight passengers. The inside is luxurious and only offers the best materials for its higher trim levels. Overall, the 2018 Ford Expedition speaks for itself when it comes to being a master of SUV utility.
