2022 GMC Terrain Trim Level Comparison

2022 GMC Terrain SLE and SLT 

The SLE and SLT trim levels are often grouped together not only because their titles are similar but because the features they offer are similar as well. Of the two, the SLT is the higher option, and it adds on a standard heated leather-wrapped steering wheel among other things. The SLE is the base trim level, with a starting MSRP of $27,900. Both models are rated at up to 1,500 pounds of towing capacity, 25 mpg in the city, and 30 mpg on the highway. They both offer advanced driver-assist safety features and wireless phone connectivity for Apple and Android phones. 

2022 GMC Terrain AT4  

The 2022 GMC Terrain AT4 is the middle trim level. It has a starting MSRP of $34,000. Like the lower trim levels, it has a towing rating of up to 15,000 pounds. Its fuel economy is the same as the lower trim levels in the city, rated at 25 mpg. On the highway, this model can achieve up to 28 mpg. The style of this model is unique, with AT4-exclusive Goodyear ® sport terrain tires, black chrome exterior accents, and a black chrome exterior finish on some features. It also has a unique interior and extra off-road features such as a steel skid plate and an off-road drive mode. 

2022 GMC Terrain Denali 

The highest trim level of the 2022 GMC Terrain is the Denali, starting at $36,600. This model has the same tow-rating and fuel economy as the AT4 model. It stands out because it adds some high-end amenities like built-in navigation, wireless charging, and an even more advanced suite of safety features. For performance, it adds a Denali Premium suspension and unique wheels with gray painted accents.
