2022 GMC Sierra Trim Level Comparison 

The 2022 GMC Sierra has eight trim levels. On the top half of this page, we will focus on the bottom four trim levels. The lower half of this page will discuss the top four trim levels. The lower trim levels in terms of price are the Pro, SLE, Elevation, and SLT.  

The 2022 GMC Sierra Pro starts at $32,495 MSRP. It has a 2.7 L Turbo engine and an available 5.3 L V8 engine. This is the least expensive trim level and it still comes with standard LED lights and ample cargo space. 

The SLE trim level starts at $43,895 MSRP. This trim level has the same engine options as the Pro with the addition of an available 3 L Diesel engine. The six-function tailgate comes standard on this trim level rather than as an available add-on for the Pro. 

Moving up, the 2022 GMC Sierra Elevation starts at $45,495. This model has the same engine options as the SLE. This trim level stands out with a black gloss grille and other monochromatic exterior elements.  

The SLT caps off the bottom trim levels with a starting price of $50,895 MSRP. It has three engine options, two of which are available on the lower trim levels. The options are a 5.3 L V8, a 3 L Diesel, or a 6.2 L V8.

Moving from the lower half of the trim levels to the higher half, we have the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 with a $60,995 MSRP. Many performance and design enhancements are made to this model. Examples include a 2-inch factory lift, an off-road suspension, 18-inch high-gloss black finish wheels, mud-terrain tires, and more. 

Just slightly more expensive is the Denali trim level with an MSRP of $61,295. This model has available Super Cruise, the hands-free driver-assist technology for compatible roads. Other updates are focused on exterior and interior design and performance. 

Next up is the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4X for $74,995 MSRP. This one comes standard with a 6.2 L V8 engine and has no other engine options. It has much of what you love about the AT4, plus luxury touches like massage seats and premium sound and audio systems. 

Last but far from least is the Denali Ultimate model starting at $80,395 MSRP. It has the same engine as the AT4X, it comes standard with Super Cruise, and it also has those massage seats and premium systems. Furthermore, it has a standard carbon-fiber composite bed among other upgrades.
